Official Sweepstakes Rules
Eric Royston Foundation Annual Golf Outing — 2025 Sweepstakes
1. Sponsor
These sweepstakes are sponsored by the Eric Royston Foundation (“Sponsor”), a Michigan nonprofit organization. Questions may be directed to the Sponsor at info@ericroystonfoundation.org.
2. Sweepstakes Offered
Two separate sweepstakes are offered:
- Split Pot Sweepstakes — One (1) winner will be selected and awarded fifty percent (50%) of the total net proceeds collected for this sweepstakes. The remaining fifty percent (50%) is retained by the Sponsor for charitable purposes.
- Golf Prize Sweepstakes — Multiple winners will be selected to receive physical prizes as described on the sweepstakes entry page. Prizes include, but are not limited to, golf equipment and golf experience packages. Individual prize descriptions and approximate retail values are listed at golf.ericroystonfoundation.org/raffles.
Each sweepstakes is independent. Entry into one does not constitute entry into the other.
3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. Entry Period
Entries are accepted beginning August 1, 2025 and closing at 6:00 PM Eastern Time on September 15, 2026 for the Split Pot Sweepstakes, and 8:00 PM Eastern Time on September 15, 2026 for the Golf Prize Sweepstakes. Entries received after the applicable closing time will not be eligible.
5. How to Enter
There are two methods of entry. Each method of entry has equal odds of winning.
Method 1 — Purchase Entry
Visit golf.ericroystonfoundation.org/raffles, create an account, select a sweepstakes, choose a ticket bundle, and complete payment via Stripe or PayPal. Ticket numbers will be assigned immediately upon confirmed payment. A purchase does not increase the odds of winning.
Method 2 — Free Mail-In Entry (No Purchase Necessary)
To enter without purchase, handprint your full legal name, complete mailing address, email address, and phone number, along with the name of the sweepstakes you are entering (“Split Pot Sweepstakes” or “Golf Prize Sweepstakes”), on a plain 3” × 5” card and mail it to:
[Mailing Address]
[City, State ZIP]
Entries must be mailed separately; no more than one (1) entry per outer envelope. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, or misdirected entries.
Method 3 — Free Online Entry
Visit golf.ericroystonfoundation.org/free-entry, complete the form with your full legal name, mailing address, email, and phone number, and select the sweepstakes you wish to enter. Limit one (1) free online entry per email address per sweepstakes per calendar day.
6. Drawing
Winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received by the close of the applicable entry period. Drawings will be conducted at the Eric Royston Foundation Annual Golf Outing event on or about September 15, 2026. For the Split Pot Sweepstakes, one (1) winner will be drawn. For the Golf Prize Sweepstakes, one (1) winner will be drawn per available prize. Drawings will be conducted under the supervision of the Sponsor. Decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding on all matters relating to these sweepstakes.
7. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for each sweepstakes. Each eligible entry has an equal chance of being selected regardless of method of entry.
8. Winner Notification
Winners will be notified at the event and/or by email or phone within seven (7) days of the drawing. Winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within fourteen (14) days of notification. Failure to respond within the required time period, or return of any prize notification as undeliverable, may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
9. Prizes
All prizes will be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent will be made except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prizes received.
10. General Conditions
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for any reason at its sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for any technical failures or other problems that may affect the processing of entries. These sweepstakes are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
